We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks to the very caring, generous, and giving people in our local communities.
Christmas is a special time. As parents, we hope to provide our children with that magical sense of wonderment - that no matter who you are or what life circumstances you are living at the time, the magic can happen for you...for your children. For many, the magic is hard to grasp. Their reality is waking up Christmas morning to a thin sparse stocking; few presents, no turkey dinner or special "treats of the season". It is spent trying to find an explanation for your child why Santa was so generous with the child next door, but almost skipped over your home.
Our local communities made the magic happen for many of our families- you brought smiles and laughter into many homes; you brought hope into many lives where hope was dwindling. On behalf of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hanover & District, we would like extend a huge thank you to the many service groups, churches, business’, hockey teams and individuals who "Shared A Little Magic" this Christmas.

The Durrer Group and Old Timers Hockey Team were just a two of many groups/individuals who chose to support BBBS Christmas 2008.
